Where is my path?

Posted by Brittany Lewis on

Some times you can barely see the path right in front of you...

Ever feel so mentally bogged down with your day to day routine that simple tasks are even taking you down the long and hard road? I have! I call that brain fog; Not being able to see what's right in front of you.

It's easy to get lost on this journey.

Ever walk from one room to the next and by the time you get there you have no idea why you even came into the room? That is NOT old age and does NOT come with getting older either. I call that loosing your way. Getting lost. Yes, you can get lost in your own head from time to time. Typically it's when we have looked to long and too hard at a door that has closed in our lives, or maybe it never even opened...

To quote Frozen, "Let it go, let it go, let it goooo!"

If you don't, you run the risk of completely loosing your path. Life is constantly moving and changing. Growing and developing. Evolving from what is, to what will be. Think of your path like a moving escalator, or the changing stair cases in Hogwarts from the Harry Potter book's and movies. If you don't get on it now when it's right before you, you might just loose it when it moves without you.

Does that mean you should be taking any and every door that has opened to you. No. Not every door is right for you. Everyone is different. Know yourself!

Occasionally when we get lost in life, we find a friend and become somewhat of a follower as it looks like they are headed where you want to go. Just because the door they walked through looks big enough for you too doesn't mean your going to be happy trying to fit in.

Don't be surprised if you find yourself creating your own path where none have traveled before you.

Never forget you are the pioneer of your life! Don't be a follower. Be a Pioneer! Explore uncharted territory! Create your new path and love every moment of it along the way!

You never know, it just might lead you back to the one you lost so long ago.

You Got This!
